Why should we share?
The titles says Instragram account but could also be a blog or a facebook page, even a pinterest board. Or you could also get yourself into a facebook group that’s about journaling. And I’m not saying that you must, but that you should or could. Why? Well, because sometimes journals are all about feedback and human contact.
It may sound crazy but it’s not, I swear (especially about the human contact stuff). Here’s the reason why: how did you get into bullet journaling? I’m pretty much you saw someone else’s work, right? Maybe a friend, a relative or even a stranger on the internet. How did you start your own bujo? By watching someone else’s work, right? By checking the original system, by human interaction, basically. You’re doing it because someone else has already done it.
So, that’s pretty much the reason why you should interact (choose the way you want for this purpose). Maybe you don’t know how to do something and get to see how by someone’s social media account. Maybe you’ve got a question and get to know the answer because someone was in the same position than you in the past.
However, this also works the other way around. You should always think of giving in the same amount as you receive. Maybe you’ve sorted out something that could be helpful to others, maybe you get to be an expert and a beginner could really use your help by just checking what you’ve already done. You know what I mean? You can even be a source of inspiration for people like others have been to you.
Don’t let your bullet journal to be a top secret thing, show if you’ve done a beautiful drawing, if you’ve found a weekly spread that has actually worked out for you way better than the others, even if you’re just proud of something you did because it just looks awesome. Maybe we all just need to see some awesome work to get inspired and get ourselves to start working. Wouldn’t you like to do the same and get a little of you to the community? Well, at least that’s my opinion. This is a world in which we should always give in order to receive and your experience may help someone else.
As always, I’m really interesting in your opinions and on what you have to say about this topic. You’re always welcome, people, let’s talk!
